The BAM Division 3.1 Safety of Dangerous Goods Packagings and Batteries invites once a year to the Information Sharing on Quality Assurance and Surveillance (InQÜ).
The meetings serve to bring all participants to an understanding on topics of quality assurance and monitoring in the manufacturing of dangerous goods packaging.
The exchange is intended to give all participants the opportunity to discuss current problems and to contribute to improving safety in the transport of dangerous goods and to improving the monitoring system.
BAM informs the participants about innovations in the regulations, reports on the discussions in the regulatory bodies and presents BAM research projects. The inspection bodies and BAM's foreign cooperation partners are given the opportunity to report on the implementation of the regulations in practice and to discuss problems encountered during their inspections.
All inspection bodies recognised by BAM are members of the InQÜ working group. Participation by at least one representative per inspection body is mandatory.
